Rock climbing is an adventure sport that requires high rate of athleticism and mental toughness. In rock climbing one requires to climb across natural rock formations or man made walls. Bungee jumping involves jumping from tall fixed structures like high-rise buildings, bridges, or mountain cliffs with your feet attached to an elastic cord. Sky Diving
Sky diving is hugely popular with travelers on adventure vacations. Sky diving involves jumping from a plane thousand of miles above the earth’s surface with a parachute on your back. The parachute is opened few miles above the ground for a safe landing. There are many ways to experience the excitement of sky diving. But for the beginners tandem sky diving and accelerated freefall are the most sought after techniques. In tandem sky diving, a rookie sky diver is strapped with an experienced one, as they both experience a free fall of 120 mph speed. In accelerated freefall, the beginner jumps along with many other sky divers who instruct and assist him during the fall. Sky diving is fast emerging as a popular sport with many countries in the West.

Skiing is winter sport which is extremely popular in colder regions of the world. Skiing involves gliding on the ice surface with the help of skis and poles. A ski is a long flat plank attached to the shoe which helps the wearer to slide smoothly over the snow. While a pole is a long supporting stick with sharp edges that helps in balancing and pushing the body forward as you slide on the snow. Scuba diving is a great underwater activity. A trained scuba diver can explore the marine life with ease. A scuba diver is also well equipped to rescue people in life threatening situations underwater. But you need to have good training in order to scuba dive effortlessly. There are many scuba diving training institutions that teach the basics of scuba diving. A scuba actually is an acronym for Self Contained Underwater Breathing Apparatus. In scuba diving a diver uses a scuba set attached to an oxygen cylinder that helps him to breath underwater. Trekking
The word trek means a long and hard journey. So trekking usually refers to long hiking trips across various mountainous regions and rugged territories. Trekking is often undertaken by people who are crazy for adventure and want to bring forth their tough side. Trekking involves scaling uneven surfaces for days. Trekkers usually travel through isolated areas which are closer to nature. There is no fixed location for trekking as it can be done anywhere. One just needs to have a comfortable backpack, loosely fitted clothes and a pair of tough shows to start trekking. Trekking can also be made even more interesting by clubbing it with other outdoor sports such as rock climbing, clubbing and backpacking. Most of the trekking trips are pre-planned keeping in mind the number of trekkers and their physical endurance as a whole.
